Martin County health officials say there are now 20 confirmed cases of dengue fever. They said all were exposed in the Rio, Jensen Beach area and had no international travel.
Of the cases, 13 are Martin County residents, two non-Florida residents, one Palm Beach County resident and four St. Lucie County residents who visited Martin County.
In response to the outbreak survey teams started going door-to-door in the affected areas, talking with some residents and testing their blood when allowed to do so.
Health officials say the two latest cases were confirmed following routine surveillance and were not part of the current community survey.
