Girl Scout cookies remain on sale through Feb. 16, and a reminder about the Cookies for the Military program.

You purchase cookies online or from a cookie booth, and they are sent to a soldier fighting for our freedom.  Friday is National Girl Scout Cookie Day, which means there's a way that you can pitch in, while getting something in return.

Visit any of the local Duffy's Sports Grilles in the area between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, and purchase a box of cookies to donate to the Cookies for the Military program, and the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Florida will give you a box for yourself, while supplies last.

If you can't make it to a Duffy's, you can purchase cookies online for Cookies for the Military, and be entered (Friday only) for a chance to win free Girl Scout Cookies for a year.
